Highlight Reel
I've had quite the last week and weekend, but haven't had time to let the world of blogging know. So here it is. My past week high light reel. If you make it on the list be honored, for you see it was a pretty great week.
It's a Wednesday
It's a Wednesday. This Wednesday means a lot of different things to me. For you see this is my last Wednesday at home for 18 months. This used to really really scare me...actually terrify me. But with the help of a pretty great friend and the Spirit I'm ready. Still nervous, but I know it's gonna work out. It's gonna be hard of course, but it is going to be worth it! Anyway even though I'm no longer dying whenever I realize the MTC is seven days away there are some things I'm going to miss.
- Sweats. I legit am wearing them everyday until I go in the MTC.
- Not getting ready. I HAVE to wear make up everyday.
- Pretty Little Liars. That is my girly show. I am going to miss it.
- Facebook. Only because I can harass Cade.
- Cade's play. It might not be great, but the greatest inside jokes always come from these.
- Pants. I love pants.
- Shorts. Goodbye bottom of my legs see you in 18 months.
- Dear elder. Dang it. Stamps are expensive.
- My hoodrats.
- Skinny jeans.
- Ally.
- Jacob.
- My dog.
- My crazy family

La La La La
My hair is crazy. It's black, with one random strip of red, one random strip of blue, the roots on top are brown but, the roots on bottom are blonde....what?!
Days with the family are the BEST. We go to the dentist, eat bloomin onions, lucy's pizza, watch Blind Side, Remember the Titans, and the Fugitive. Take the dog on a lemon and Cade returns!
Sometimes as a result of my flu I get a sinus infection. It's been so long since I've had one that I forgot how nasty they are, little boogers. It literally feels like someone hit you in the stomach with a baseball bat and then slapped you in the face a couple times. There is the constant pressure in your jaw or above your eyes. It sucks.
I'm going on a road trip tomorrow, HUZZAH! I'm excited. I love Aggie basketball and hopefully we take down BYU. I'm also going to say my very first see you in 18 months, goodbye. Weird. I've said goodbye before like to my boys who left on their missions, but now it's my turn. How crazy?! 16 days....that's all I have left! Where does the time go? Woot. Missions. Yeah.
My farewell is Sunday, weird again. I forgot to put it in the paper...oops. I think it would be better to put it in before I go into the MTC, so it will be fine. I should probably write my talk....probably a good idea. My bishop not only gave me a topic, but gave me two articles as well. Pretty much wrote my talk for me, sweet.
I love cleaning my room. Weird. It legit is the most distracting thing in the world for me! I find things. Cool things that I have forgotten. Cleaning my room takes way too long.
People are coming to my house. My mother is in a cleaning frenzy! My family from Arizona is coming and no one knows, bu me! It shall be a splendid surprise! Baha!!

Eighteen
Happy 18th birthday Cade! This a post dedicated to the wonderfulness that is my little brother. If you aren't Cade or don't care to read this, then don't. Leave now. But if you want to see me be a little mushy or read about how great Cade is keep going.
I am still in shock that you turned eighteen yesterday. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?! You should still be twelve! Just learning to pass the sacrament. Or even fourteen so excited about taking Drivers Ed. This eighteen, junior in high school nonsense needs to stop! You're growing up, and I don't approve!
Cade. We may have had rough times. You may have once rolled car windows up on my friends, ignored me, tackled me, and I'm sure there is more...but the truth is I don't know what I'd do without you. You make everyday so much better. You are so smart. SO SMART! And it is great to watch you do so well in school. You are so funny! Man, I honestly can't say I have ever met anyone who can make me laugh like you do. You truly have a gift when it comes to making others happy. You make everyone laugh. There isn't a person out there who you can't make smile. It takes a lot of talent and love to do that. You're so talented. You have such a gift when you get out on that stage. You take on the role of whatever person you're acting and become that person. You can sing too. And always manage to steal the show with your sweet personality and winning charm. I can't forget to mention how incredibly forgiving you are. You truly are a fantastic person. People can do whatever they want to you, but you will always give them a second chance without a second thought. There is so much I can learn from you. You really are a great example. You've always been so righteous and so strong. Never afraid to stand up for what you believe in even when everyone else is against you. You're turning into quite the fantastic person. I am so thankful that we are as close as we are.
The truth is I'm gonna miss you kiddo. It may feel like I'm at college for you, but I will miss chatting with you everyday. I'm sorry that I will miss your last high school plays, choir concerts, MR. RHS, and who knows what else. I hope you know that those mean so much to me. That I love supporting you, because I know that you're great. Don't let Rigby High get you down. There is so much more to life than this. So much. You'll be great. Enjoy the time while you can, life really does go so quickly. I know I won't be here to see you off on your own mission, but I know you'll do great. You're going to be a great missionary. You have such a strong testimony and get along so well with people. I know there are people waiting for you to share the gospel with them. Love you knucklehead and happy birthday!

- i have to take my pills
- parts of my hair is gray
A disturbance in the force...
That's right there is definitely a disturbance in the force that makes up Cassie land. That disturbance is the continual presence of feelings! I feel like the Grinch when his heart starts to grow two sizes! People don't realize how mind blowing this whole process is! I am having emotions...a lot. The emotion of today is....sad. And happy, thankful, shock, joy....only a girl, right? Well you see the cause of my current disturbance of feelings (this whole feeling thing started with my mission...) is that tomorrow is my last day of work! Who knew this would hurt me so! Three weeks ago when I gave them my three weeks notice I was so excited to escape the world of little children who are stronger than me....but now..............................................a sad soul is what I have.
Who knew that my little hoodlum of a five year could be so fantastic. He really is though. There may be times where I want to sit on him, push him in the snow, or tickle him until he cries, but these moments are becoming fewer and fewer! My child is learning!!!!!!! Just in time fore me to leave him....
These last two weeks have been so great. He listens to me, plays with me, and he even kinda likes me. The time has flown by at work and I have loved every minute of it. That little blue eyed, blonde, freckle faced kid is stealing my heart. He is ridiculously cute. I'd show you a picture, but that would be breaking the law so....imagine it. We legit though have been having the best time.
Sometimes that little boy of mine is so sweet! He will make Valentines for kids who don't have friends, share his cupcake with his best friend, look for the pink clouds everyday, play with puppies, talk football, and so many more precious moments. Oh what a blessing our little children. I will even miss some of the random sassy things that he says.
He is also ridiculously smart. Everyday it blows me away. I am literally blessed with the opportunity to watch him learn before my eyes. Everyday he learns a little more and makes all kinds of improvements. What a privilege it has been to work with the little kiddo. As much as it boggles me how quickly I can become attached to someone....even a five year old, and as much as I am going to miss the little punk I'm glad that I've had the chance to work with him. He is five. In all honestly he is going to forget me. But I know that one day I will have the chance and the blessing to look for him in the eternities.
I also enjoy my co-workers. They are some pretty great people. I get to be a grown up sometimes and hang with the married college girls. They are all fantastic and I love Tuesday wings. They give great advice and are still accepting of my immature unmarried ways. There are also some pretty great college guys. That give me hope of a man working with children. They all do a great job. And oh what would I do without my little high school gang. Tyler and Spencer are going to have a great time at Utah State next year! (They picked a pretty great school) And Kylee and Nicole have some pretty great futures ahead of them as well. There was a time when I wasn't too excited for this job. How wrong I was! It has been such a great experience for me! I am so thankful for the things that it has taught me and for all of the people I've gotten to know and most of all for a little five year old boy who has taught me so much and changed the way I see things.

My kinda life.
Things are pretty grand, pretty grand. (Yes I'm listening to One Direction as I blog) The last couple of days I have been feeling a little nervous I definitely think my flu has contributed to my worries. Time is flying by! Three weekends! That's all I have left before I set out on my next big adventure. As a result I've been busy the last couple of days. Trying to get healthy and cleaning and such. When tonight I realized something. Yeah there are things I need to do, but I can't forget to stop and live in the moment. I have the best life. Really, I do. I need to stop and enjoy it instead of nervously counting down the days I have left. When I do this, when I go out and let everything go, that's when I can truly see the wonderful gift that is the life I live.
I have fantastic friends. They are scattered all over the country, even the world, but I have never been so grateful or so proud of a couple who are chillin in the Rigby area. Good friends really are always there. Even when you haven't seen them for awhile you can pick things up like you've never been apart. It is fantastic. I love friends you can joke around with. Who can watch you try your hardest at Just Dance and laugh with you when you dance like a crazy white chick, or when you step in the snow only to fall through the ice into the giant puddle lake underneath it. I'm thankful for all of these people in my life. They truly have helped me to be the person I am today and have given me some of the best memories. We are all growing up and heading to Brazil, Texas, Georgia, or getting married and it's great. It's truly fantastic that we've had the chance to see each others lives take such twists and turns.
I also have one the world's most amazing families. My parents could not be better examples and more supportive. Some of my favorite nights are just sitting in the living room and listening the greatness that takes place. Kyle is such a sassy child. A hilarious sassy child. He's such a smart kid and no one knows sport stats like he does. Oh Cade. That boy. What would I do without my Les Miserables singing buddy? We have the confrontation song down! Sometimes I know I take them for granted, but I am so grateful that I have them for eternity. It makes leaving them for eighteen months a little easier. It makes growing up easier because I know that no matter what I will have them for forever.
Work is also great. This deserves it's own post though. So tis all I shall say about it at the moment.
I have a wonderful life. A life that is full of laughter, the gospel, laughter, and a great kind of happiness. It hasn't always gone the way I've expected or even wanted, but when it comes down to the final outcome there isn't anything about it that I'd change. Rigby, Idaho? Yeah. It probably won't be my forever, but I'm so thankful it's my right now.

Bucket List
I currently have a bucket list. It is kind of weird, for you see it isn't a life long list it is a before I go on a mission list. I have spiritual things that need to be done of course, but I have quite a few random acts that need to be done as well. For instance I am currently trying to watch a whole lot of Disney movies. I sure will miss those. 18 months and no Little Mermaid somehow I will get through. My list also consists of:
- Going ice skating
- playing catch
- harassing my brothers as much as possible
- wearing sweats EVERYDAY
- reading the harry potter books
- taking naps
- coloring, lots of coloring
- eating doughnuts
- eating cake
- not sweating
- music. lots of it.
- one last BYU vs. USU basketball game
- watching football
- being spontaneous and not planning out every minute of my day
- carving my name in a tree on the USU quad

I am not a girly girl really, but if he sang this song to me. I would marry him. Right after my mission.

What the...
I realized something today...something mind boggling!! I was pondering the day...and the season. For you see it is the season of the super bowl. The greatest time of the year. I was pondering the super bowl parties of my past and I noticed a weird trend. I have been sick for the last three super bowls!! WHAT THE!?
My senior year I got invited to a super bowl party, but got sick two days before. Last year I decided that I was going to through a super bowl part of EPIC proportions! It was going to be pretty fantastic. But dang it all I got sick the whole week before. I had a pretty great solo football party in my bedroom. It actually was pretty great to watch it while sitting in my bed. And then this year! I have been sick since Tuesday. What is happening? It is the CURSE of the super bowl. I am sick every time. What is this nonsense?!
